Acquired in 2016 by Daniel and Alfredo Merlo, this small estate located at the highest point of Luján de Cuyo is the place we chose to build our winery. The combination of rich soils, proximity to the mountains, and high altitude has a significant impact on our wines, resulting in powerful yet highly elegant flavors. This estate is managed organically.

This estate is located on the border between Los Chacayes and Vistaflores, on Clodomiro Silva Street. The Malbec grapes from this area are known for their deep violet colors and pronounced floral and fresh herbal notes.

This particular estate was planted in 2011 on the banks of the Tunuyán River, marking the boundary between Campo Los Andes and Paraje Altamira. The rocky and sandy soils, low in organic matter, lead to small-sized grapes and high concentration, resulting in powerful and fresh wines with distinct notes of fresh cherries.

This estate belongs to our Facundo Azzoni, and we consider it as our own. Its atypical east-west orientation and the substantial temperature variation in the area make it an ideal place to produce a Malbec with excellent acidity and freshness.

This estate is situated in the highlands of Los Chacayes, on Route 94. It was the first vineyard planted in the area, and some of the oldest vines in this estate contribute grapes to Bestial.
