PRIMERA ZONA VINEYARDS

“Primera Zona” is composed mainly by the Departments of Lujan de Cuyo and Maipú. It is the most traditional area, and the one that has the most wineries in Argentina.
Most of the vineyards are old, and the flood irrigation stands out. The soils are of alluvial origin, deep, and with predominant presence of silt and clay.

LA FINQUITA

Location: Cruz de Piedra, Maipú, Mendoza.
Planted Surface: 1ha.
Altitude: 850 msnm.
Year of plantation: 1924.
Density of plantation: 3500 plants/ha.
Yield/ha: 2000 kg/ha.
Irrigation type: Surface irrigation.
Soil Type: Loamy, clay and rich in organic material.
